Ms. Ayska Karissa graduated cum laude from the Faculty of Law, Universitas Indonesia in 2022. While completing her studies at the university, she actively participated in various student organizations such as Asian Law Students’ Association and Student Executive Bodies. She led her team to claim 2nd Place in the National Contract Drafting Competition held by Universitas Atma Jaya back in 2021. She participated in Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam’s commercial and company law master’s program as an exchange student from 2021 to 2022.
Prior to joining Walalangi & Partners, she worked as an associate at one of Indonesia’s prominent law firms, where she was entrusted to handle various matters related to general corporate, commercial, and foreign investment.
- Advising one of the biggest tier 1 telecommunication service companies on the regulatory framework of its proposed development and provision of in car wi-fi services to Indonesian vehicle owners (as end-users), focusing on legal analysis for its (i) device authentication, spectrum management, value-added services and over-the-top (OTT) services, (ii) processing vehicle owners’ personal data, and (iii) e-SIM’s remote profiling to be embedded into the in car wi-fi devices.
- Counsel to PT Bangun Loka Indah, an affiliated company of PT Djarum, a leading Indonesian conglomerate group company, in its approximately IDR 800 billion acquisition of 2.795 hectares of land and real property from PT Bukit Savanna Raya (jointly owned by PT Bukit Uluwatu Villa Tbk. and PT Sirius Surya Sentosa (a member of Vasanta Group).
